Participate in any Open Show and any Breed Show and earn Points.
Earn 1/2 a Point for each Class you enter and participate in, no matter where you place or number of entries in Class.
then earn 1/2 a point for each Equine you place above with a maximum of 25 Head per Class
Points will be calculated each year on December 31st for high point awards and Titles
Lifetime Titles: Register Of Merit 25 Points ~ Register Of Honor 50 Points ~ Superior Achievement 75 Points ~ Premier Excellence 100 Points in any Show Category. Excellence in Halter 250 points ~ Superior Halter 500 Halter Points ~ Excellence in Performance 250 points ~ Superior Performance 500 performance points
Honorary Champion ~ Achieve 2 ROM Titles ~ AHR Champion Achieve 3 ROM titles ~ Versatile Champion Achieve 4 ROM Titles ~ Performance Champion 2 Premier Excellence Titles in Performance Divisions, Superior Champion Achieve 3 Premier Excellence Titles (one must be in Halter) ~ Hall Of Fame Superior in Halter and Superior Performance titles
How to Calculate your horse’s points
*First understand what division you are showing in. Points will be calculated in each division separately for year end awards and Lifetime Titles
American Horse Registry Show Divisions
Halter: All Halter Classes
Western Performance: All Western Classes except Ranch Classes and Racing
Ranch Performance: All Ranch Classes including Cow working and Reining Classes
Racing: All Speed Event Classes, Barrels, Poles, Etc.. And Racing Events
English Performance: All English Classes
Driving: All Driving Classes
*Then you calculate your points in each Division separately
Your horse receives Half a point for each class you enter, no matter how many horses there are or what you place.
Then your horse receives half a point for each horse your horse places above in the class.
Example: there are 8 horses in the class, and your horse receives Fourth Place. Your horse earns 2.5 points.
Add your points in each division listed above separately and then you will know if your horse has accumulated enough points for a Lifetime Title.
Most horses can earn enough points to earn a ROM in one show year!
